| Education Foundation – Osceola County – Take Stock in Children |
| Take Stock in Children, a scholarship/mentoring program of the Education Foundation Osceola County, is in dire need of mentors, both male and female in the Poinciana area. All mentoring is school-based and takes place during the school year. Applicants must be fingerprinted and undergo an FBI and FDLE background check, then attend a two-hour training session prior to being matched with a student. Thirty minutes a week of your time can make a tremendous difference in the life of a child. Anyone interested in becoming a mentor can request an application by calling the Take Stock in Children office at 407-344-8155. |
