Holiday Mixer 2008! The evening’s entertainment includes classical Spanish guitar, Firemystics on the outside balcony and flamenco dancing. After the entertainment, we will unveil the 2009 Destination Fresno County Visitors Guide cover. CVB members are invited to bring a guest; if your guest applies for CVB membership, you will be entered into our Membership Drive Incentive Drawing. A Land Between Rivers- 
The Fresno Historical Society has created a magnificent 1-hr documentary that tells the story of central California between the San Joaquin and Kings Rivers. A Land Between Rivers demonstrates how the land shapes people, who in turn shape the land. Fron the Sierra Nevada Mountains that give the regions its gold, timber and water, to the fertile soil built over centures in teh San Joaquin Valley, to the western coastal range that helps control the climate, the region's unique geological conditions have combined with human ingenuity and hard work to create an agricultural paradise.
