The Lakeland Police Department will be conducting a
firearms buy back program on Saturday, December 13, 2008
beginning at 9:00 AM - Northwest Park (108 W. 3rd Street.
  - across the street from Henley Field and Bryant Stadium)
All persons who are willing to
surrender firearms     will
receive a $50.00  gift
card to a local
retailer.   NO

Lakeland Electric has Closed Downtown Payment Office
Lakeland Electric’s downtown payment office located at 501 East Lemon Street is now closed. The City of Lakeland Utility Committee voted 11-3 to follow staff recommendations to close the downtown payment lobby and drive thru.
